Assumption University has been a pioneer from its inception. Established in 1969 as Assumption School of Business by the Foundation of the Brothers of St. Gabriel in Thailand, it became Assumption Business Administration College (ABAC) in 1972 and soon emerged as the first international university in Thailand.
Assumption University has a student body of about +20,000 including a fairly large number of foreign students drawn from +80 countries. It also employs a high caliber faculty, a truly international community of scholars and professionals representing diverse academic disciplines. The University is fully accredited and supervised by the Office of the Commission on Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, Thailand. Its academic standards are accepted by the Civil Service Commission of Thailand. Assumption University is fully recognized in the U.S.A, Canada and other countries and transfer of credits from this university is accepted by many foreign universities. AU Graduates can pursue advanced degrees anywhere in the world.
Graduate School of eLearning (GSeL) was established in 2005-06, at the initiative of Rev. Brother Martin Prathip Komolmas. The GSeL envisions itself to be one of the leading eLearning institutions in the region. Under the leadership of current President Rev. Brother Bancha Saenghiran the GSeL eLearning programs have thrived immensely.
This journal is a part of GSeL’s effort to promote interdeciplinary research in various domains such as computer sciences, information technology, education, digital learning, business and management.
